The FOCUS conference series showcases best planning and development practices in the region. These practices may be a well known set of steps or a novel idea that elegantly solves a local planning conundrum. Who determines a best practice? How do you know if you're using one? To find out, join us for a series of half-day workshops that will bring together local practitioners who are experimenting with new ways to solve local problems. The series will focus on planning issues with a regional context, such as how to build more housing near transit in your community. You don't need to be a planner to attend: Elected officials, managers, consultants, and non-profit staff are all welcome. All you need is your commitment to regional progress.
