Marin County
Big Rock Ridge lands, located in the central unincorporated portion of Marin County, provide a scenic backdrop to the City of Novato and can be viewed by thousands of residents in the area. The area can provide continuity to the Bay Area Ridge Trail, a regional, multi-use trail on the ridgeline, and other trail opportunities for recreation. It has dense, varied vegetation and rugged, steep terrain. These assets present an opportunity to enhance the upland greenbelt in Marin County.
