The Sutro Tower area is situated atop Mount Sutro, which includes the well-known television antenna that many consider a San Francisco land mark. This land is contiguous to open space lands in the center of the city, including Mount Sutro, Twin Peaks, and Glen Canyon, which form a wildlife, recreation, and hiking corridor down the central spine of the city, and it has spectacular views. Land conservation in this area would enhance the envisioned wildlife/recreational corridor down the central spine of San Francisco.
