Santa Clara County
The Lexington Hills area is adjacent to the Santa Cruz Mountains and Sierra Azul Ridge along the Santa Cruz-Santa Clara County line. The hills are a unique landscape feature, provide a scenict viewshed, and serve watershed protection functions. They also provide a buffer from urbanization. This area also provides future regional parkland and open space expansion opportunities for nearby regional parks and open space. Land conservation in this area would protect the area’s ecological integrity.
